Hello and welcome to Little River Farm! Located in the heart of Smyrna, Tennessee, right near the banks of Stones River, our facility is a trail rider's dream!
If you would like more information than is provided here, please call either Liz (615-484-2165) or Stefanie (615-414-6148).
Little River Farm is a privately owned boarding facility. We offer full-service board for your equine companions! This board includes:
- A roomy stall
- Stall cleaning 7 days/week
- Hay
- Water
- Food (we provide oats and sweet feed)**
- Bedding (shavings)
- Daily turn-out
- We will administer supplements at no extra charge (owner provided)
- Knowledgeable management staff on site every day of the week!
Our facility is equipped with several cross-ties, 21 spacious stalls, a round pen, several turn-out areas (including a large front pasture), a wash bay, tack room, covered hay and shavings storage, and access to miles upon miles of trails right out the back door!
We have had horses of all shapes and sizes in this barn over the years! Everything from an American Cream Draft mare all the way down to four little minis! We can accommodate horses of most any size!
Our trails run all over the Army Corps. of Engineers property! We ride along and across Stones River! Once your're across the river, you can ride all the way to Walter Hill! These trails go on FOREVER!
We have a farrier who comes every 6 weeks and takes care of most of the horses in the barn. If you have your own favorite farrier, however, you are more than welcome to continue using them at our facility!
We are in a period of transition from old management to new management, so there are lots of improvements being made to this already wonderful facility! Lots of exciting changes in the works! We currently have several stalls available for new boarders and we would love for you to come check us out! At Little River Farm, we are a family and we all enjoy bonding over our mutual love of horses! :)
Full board is $300/month, but ask us about our multiple-horse discount! We also have a few select stalls that have access to private turn-out paddocks. Call for details.
**If your horse eats anything other than oats or sweet feed, you will be responsible for providing your own feed. If we get in enough boarders who use senior, we may start providing that as well.
